Interactive Performance by Kari Tauring
Sing horse songs from Scandinavia, learn about the horses from Norse
myth, and ride a hobby horse in a stav jam.

September 8 and 9, 6-9pm - $60 for both nights

- hold a flint knife from 20,000 BC Denmark. It's still sharp. Try
on a skirt from the Bronze Age, write your name in Elder Futhark
runes and hear and original rune song "galdor"
that
brings you to the Viking Age!
Tuesday
Night -
See how Vikings changed the rune alphabet, learn a medieval ballad
about the use and misuse of runes, and discover how the coming of
Christianity shifted Scandinavian spiritual traditions.
Norse
Myth and Puppetry
October 25th 10 -Noon
Who lives among the branches of Yggdrasil, the world tree? Well
they all come out at Winterfinding, the time of the wild hunt! Create
masks and puppets of your favorite Scandinavian creatures and stay
safe until winter is done.
