His ability to create celebration and community is obvious as he leads the carolling before each year's Yule show. He has contributed his original spoken word, songs, and drumming as the Warrior character in the South.

David also influenced Kari to write her Rune Book and keep an active presence on the world wide web. The two share a core of spiritual practices such as dream work and Tai Chi. "I am so grateful for my long friendship with David. He is an extraordinary man!"
