Nordic root performing artist and Staff Carrier Kari Tauring will perform a special concert in honor of: The Spring Invitational Exhibit 2017 Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Spirit Room in Fargo, ND. Kari first performed at the Spirit Room in 2009 with the Danish band Krauka and Mandan-Hidatsa storyteller and musician Keith Bear and several times since then. Norwegian Folk Dancers at Festival of Nations

From May 4 to May 7, The Festival of Nations is one of the most amazing festivals in Minnesota. Very rarely do we see folk music, dance, food, crafts, and costumes from nearly every immigrant community in Minnesota on display all in one place! The Summerland Spirit Festival in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin runs from July 8 through 15 and welcomes visiting volur Kari Tauring (Minneapolis) and Sonja Lidsheim (Kongsburg, Norway) on July 11, 12, and 13!
